Ode To My Family

As I celebrate my 39th year of existence, I have to stop a while to thank God for all the blessings He has given me through all these years. He has given me everything that I needed, and more and He has surrounded my table with friends. What an awesome God He truly is, for He has blessed me with a family like no other.

I would like to thank God for giving me my best friend, my companion for almost 20 years now. She is always there whenever I needed her; through thick and thin, sickness and in health, through the good times and the bad. She was the only one that truly understands me. Thank you Lord for giving me the love of my life, my wife Nette.

Thank you Lord for giving me two wonderful kids who are always there to inspire me to do better. They are more than just kids to me, they are also my friends, critics and confidants.

Thank you Lord for my parents. They are not the best parents in the world, but they are for me. We may not always see things eye to eye, but I would not be who I am today if it were not for them.













Thank you also for my CFC family. They have been more than brothers and sisters to me. Thank you for the opportunity to meet them and be a part of something worth while. Through them, I have learned that the world does not always evolve around me; that there is always someone I could turn to whenever I am in need, ans that is You.





Thank you for D.A.R.T.S. In this day and age, it is really hard to find good and true friends and yet here we are. 25+ years since we first met and our friendships were never stronger. Even our kids are friends. It is good to finally belong.





Thank you Lord for all of my friends and acquaintances, they are too many to mention, who, in one way or the other, You have used to mold me into a better person than I was.

Most of all, thank You Lord for coming into my life, and for taking care of me for the past 39 years!
