Harvest For The World

It was a good day. The sun is shining, moderate traffic, had a good breakfast and reached the office early. But when I read the news, my day was completely ruined. It turned out that a man killed his seven children and his wife before taking his own! His reason; he lost his job.

I remembered this story because, on the way to the office this morning, the same thing happened again. What is this world turning into? The only reason that I could fathom, for them to do this, is that they lost hope. Hope that they could recover from this trial that they are going through. And the only reason I could think of is because they have not met Christ, or they haven't had a personal relationship with Him. They have not realized that, through Christ, there is always hope.

Matthew 9:38 - Then He said to His disciples "The harvest is rich but the laborers are few, so ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers to His harvest"

Truly, we need more laborers these days in order to spread God's words to more people. God's reflection should be seen through us in our homes, school, office, the mall and everywhere we go. In everything we do, we should make sure that people around us will feel and experience that God is reaching out to them through us.

If only the persons who took their lives had the chance to know God in a more personal level, I'm sure they would still be alive today working in  His vineyard.
