Last October 2011, I started feeling dizzy and kind of weak during our prayer assembly. It was like living in a dream like state where everything could end at any moment. We found out later, after we went to the hospital, that my blood pressure shot up. It was the start of months and months of medication for me. I had to watch my diet and avoid strenuous activities. It was a period im my life that I would not easily forget.
I started feeling a lot better during the Christmas season. That year, I felt like I had the best Christmas ever as we spent the season with family and friends. However, I had that feeling that this is going to be the last Christmas that I will see. But God had other plans.
This year, God allowed me to serve Him through our brothers and sisters in the community. He sent me to Pangasinan, Subc and nearby cities to help spread the good news. He helped me hone my talents as we formed our music ministry. God did all of these and more while surrounding me with family and friends. It was a simple way of God telling me "It is not over. The best is yet to come".
True to His promise, I am having a season much better than last year. God's blessing doesn't seem to cease from pouring in from all directions. And now, we will be celebrating the Christmas that I thought would never see, and it comes with a message of hope that the best part of our lives is yet to come!
