Strong @ 17 (day 3)

This is the day we go swimming with the fishes... literally.

We started the day by going helmet diving. After being briefed on the basics, it is time for us to dive. Being submerged felt like being in another world. It is a totally different experience for us, to be walking on the sea bed with fishes swimming around us. I always wanted to go scuba diving, but this is a great alternative. We got to see God's underwater creations first hand. Fishes of all shapes, sizes and color seem to be come from everywhere. Now I know how it feels like to be in an aquarium, and we have some pictures and a video to prove it.

After emerging from our helmet dive, we were off to Crocodile Island for some snorkeling. From the aquarium, we now find ourselves in Nemo's backyard. It was another awesome sight; too bad I don't have an underwater camera!

After our underwater adventures, we got the chance to go island hoping. It was a real treat especially this season since the waves are not that big. We even got the chance to have lunch in one of the islands we visited.

We were a bit tired after our adventures so we decided to head back to our hotel to rest for a while and freshen up a bit.

By mid-afternoon, we strolled by the beach and went to station 1 to see the grotto. As we reached our destination, after around 15 to 20 minutes walk, we were treated to a great view of the grotto which is situated on an island near the beach. Our timing was great as we reached the island during a low tide. This means that the island is not surrounded, totally, by water.

We lingered a little bit and enjoyed the view and the water then we started our trek back to our hotel. This is easily the best day of our vacation thus far.

One more day left on our honeymoon vacation. I wonder what's in store for us tomorrow.
