Looking upon the mountain ranges, one can see the beauty of God's creation. They seem too big that when you look at them, you can see how the mountain go on and on without end. However, when you place a small coin near your eye, it creates an illusion that the coin is larger than the mountain. But when you hold the coin a little farther, reality sets in as we see how small the coin is compared to the mountain.
The same goes in our lives. The coin represents all of our trials, problems, burdens and hardships that it usually obscure our line of sight. And when this happens, nothing seems to matter more than our pressing need to overcome such problems.
We need to learn to look beyond our problems so that we can see how insignificant they are compared to the greatness of our God. Like the mountain, God is always bigger than all of our troubles put together. With God by our side, we can overcome all the storms that will come our way. Let us have faith in Him, believe that He is always leading us through all of our troubles, for He is our God.
John 20:29 - Jesus said to Thomas "You believe because you can see Me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe".
