Heads Or Tails

I remember reading this story about a man who always have a positive outlook in life. Nothing seems to dampen his day, and every time you see him, he always wears a smile on his face. One day, his friends asked him his secret on how to live a happy life. His answer was simple. He chose to be happy.

Life is full of choices, some big, some small, but eventually, we all have to make a choice. Black coffee or with cream? Go left or right? Continue reading this blog or not? Is the glass half empty or half full? In every situation, we are always faced with at least two choices, one more positive than the other. Why not opt to always choose to be positive?

Our choices in life reflects who we are. It also rubs off to those people around us. Like when we wake up with a bad headache, will I chose to be grumpy all day and use it as an excuse, or will I just focus on the positive?

Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu was born with a comfortable life, but she chose to turn her back on these material things and lived as a servant of all. She dedicated her life in helping others specially the poorest of the poor, to help uplift their lives and bring back their dignity. Just like God, she chose to love no matter who you are or where you are from and what she said will always serve as an inspiration to those who choose to serve.

"By blood, I am Albanian. By citizenship, an Indian. By faith, I am a Catholic nun. As to my calling, I belong to the world. As to my heart, I belong entirely to the Heart of Jesus."                                                - Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta

 Have you made your choice?
